"Oh mercy mercy me" - Marvin Gaye

Last night we were mercy ruled by Hudson Memorial Presbyterian. The battle of the Presbyterians is now 1 to 1 this season. The final score was 16-6 in the 6th inning. We were getting close to our hour time limit but still it's never fun to get the mercy rule. Our normal pitcher wasn't there but I can't blame it on the backup. Hudson definitely has some big bats and we were having an off day. As far as my game went I was 2-3 with a pop to the pitcher on my first AB, a single on a bloop to center, and then an infield single to short and no errors(!). Hopefully we'll get back on track on Thursday vs. First Baptist.
